Nils Kr. Kovdal has extensive experience in ship finance, leasing and equity investments. A large portion of his 20+ year career was spent with Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore and Hong Kong) and Navigation Finance Corporation/DVB Bank (London and Netherlands) prior to taking up the position as Group CFO for Navig8 in London. He trained and worked as a lawyer with Stephenson Harwood in London, focusing on ship finance and S&P transactions, and have also worked for Intertanko and the Royal Norwegian Navy as an officer.
Mr. Kovdal holds a BSc(Hons) in Maritime Business & Management from LJMU, and completed his legal studies at the College of Law in Guildford, UK.
