John P. Wanek was previously head of corporate finance and debt capital markets for Mercuria Energy Trading, a Swiss-based energy trading company, where he gained extensive experience in structured trade finance, maritime finance, RCFs and private placement bond programs. John previously worked for commodity trading companies Cargill and Gavilon as well as FIAT having responsibility for running their various ABS, CP and MTN programs. John graduated from Thunderbird University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder.
