Eik Schuppan has more than 20 years of experience in financing within the maritime industry and has worked in various banks and other financial institutions.
Eik has an in-depth knowledge and history in work out situations and loan restructuring. From 2016 until 2022 he worked for HSH Portfoliomanagement AöR and was responsible for a NPL portfolio of USD 5 bln with approx. 250 vessels financed. During this wind down mission a number of warehousing transactions and corporate finance deals were created in order to maximize the outcome for the stakeholders. Prior to HSH, Eik worked at DVB, Howe Robinson and Unicredit. Eik holds a degree in Business administration.
